On the 23rd and 24th of July, 2021, Feelings Radio project (FRP) will occupy the Stevenson Gallery (Cape Town) for an intimate gathering and live broadcast held as part of My Whole Body Changed Into Something Else, a group exhibition curated by Sisipho Ngodwana and Sinazo Chiya. The title of the exhibition is drawn from a quote by Sun Ra, in which the artist, thinker and composer describes a moment of abduction and renewal.
On day one of the intervention, FRP presents a music set that unites the various audio elements of the exhibition into a single soundscape, and on day two the artists will be accompanied by drummer and percussionist Bonolo Nkoane.
